Rosewood Property acquires Atlanta self-storage facility

ATLANTA – (Dec. 9, 2025) – Rosewood Property Company has expanded its national self-storage footprint with the acquisition of a new Atlanta facility, marking the company’s 85th facility nationwide, its second in Georgia and first in the Atlanta area.

“Acquiring this facility underscores our long-term commitment to strategic growth in key markets like Atlanta,” said Brandon Cooke, Vice President of Acquisitions, Rosewood Property Company. “Its prime location and modern design make it an ideal addition to our portfolio and allow us to continue delivering convenient, high-quality storage solutions to our customers.”

Located at 6434 Covington Highway at the corner of Covington Highway and Wellborn Road, the property spans 90,502 square feet of rentable space across 825 units. The split-level design provides convenient ground-floor access to all units, ensuring smooth loading and unloading. Extra Space Storage will serve as the property management company.

“This acquisition represents more than just another property for our portfolio; it reflects Rosewood’s continued confidence in the strength of the self-storage sector and our disciplined expansion approach,” said Rick Perdue, President of Rosewood Property Company. “Each new facility strengthens our national footprint, deepens our presence in high-demand markets and positions us better to serve communities with reliable, accessible storage options.”

Rosewood Property Company’s self-storage program possesses the ability to close quickly because of the firm’s access to direct internal capital. This acquisition brings Rosewood’s total acquired self-storage facility square footage to 6 million across 23 states.
