A textile firm is relocating its North Texas operations to southern Dallas.
American Textile Co. has leased a 201,600-square-foot industrial building at the new JJ Lemmon Distribution Center at 32777 LBJ Freeway.
The Pennsylvania-based firm is a major manufacturer and distributor of bedding products. American Textile also has U.S. operations in Duquesne, Penn., Salt Lake City and Tifton, Ga.
The company is moving an operation now located at Pinnacle Park, which is on Interstate 30 west of downtown Dallas.
The company is almost doubling its operations in Dallas with the move.
“This new location gives American Textile the opportunity to expand their Dallas operation,” JLL Vice President Forshey Hoobler said in a statement.
Hoobler and Elizabeth Jones of JLL negotiated the lease with John Hendricks and Kacy Jones of CBRE.
JJ Lemmon Distribution Center on Intestate 20 was built by Trammell Crow Co., Clarion Partners and Rosewood Property Co.
Amazon leased 500,000 square feet in another building in the project.
